How to choose 7gig

My plan is 7gig and on the app I have to choose between 5gig and 10gig there is no 7gig :(

my monthly plan is 20GB

Great update. I do like the new cool graphic! But how do I set my 20GB monthly data plan? From selection I can only take 10 or 50.... :( Thx, A.

Tells me how slow my signal is

But wont let me send logs. Why bother.

No cell tracking

New version only keeps track of wifi, no cell. Toggle switch makes no change!!

Would give zero stars if an option

Location services options are only "never" & "always". Cisco doesnt need to track your location when not actually using the application. BAD CISCO NO TREAT!!!!

Switch app back so it starts on the Perform Speed Test" page

It used to be possible to open app and immediately perform a speed test, now it takes 3 steps.

Bad app

I have used this app for quite some time and to be honest with you I would look somewhere else if I were you.

I receive a notification of....

....4 messages in the app, but have no idea whatfore. Looked everywhere...

Buggy and annoying

App closes constantly, continually asks if youre connected to a nearby businesss network and worst of all it constantly has a red notification badge with the number of nearby hotspots. They tried to improve on their speed testing app but have released this problem child instead. Bring back GIST!

Very good tool to measure your internet speed.

good!

No real time data usage tracking

I downloaded this app and then performed some intensive wireless usage. I did not see any data usage update In either the cellular or wireless displays. Apple 4s. The speed test seems to work, that is why I gave it to start.

Accurate!

Its my first day use So far it gave me my usage via iPhone settings ( not manually usage ) I love it Waiting until the end of the cycle

Not that great

This is not accurate at all. Used 3 different iPhones 4s and 5s.

All I wanted was a speed test

I used to use GIST but Cisco said I had to switch to this. It doesnt keep a history of speed tests, and continuously polls my location which is killing my battery. There is no need for it to constantly run in the background without letting me turn it off, Im done with it.

Accuracy?

I am sure that 4G-LTE or my residential broadband do not allow a 65 Mbps download speed. The download measurements finish in under half a second which does not allow to calculate a sane number. Even the upstream numbers have a large deviation between tests. This app is for sure a step backwards from GIST.

Typical Cisco

In their continuing quest to screw up continuously, Cisco took a mediocre product (GIST) and phased it out in favor of a lousy product.

Wrong unit prefix

They do not even know such an elementary thing as the unit for millisecond is ms not Ms... that would be megaseconds.

Prefer GIST

This is ok but I like the comparison charts of GIST better. I dont need to know hot spot locations. I just like to check my internet speed when Im having issues.

Cisco Data Meter vs GIST

The new Data Meter from Cisco is unreliable. The tried and true GIST , for which Support will end on October 31, 2014, shows results as much as 10Mb less than Data Meter. In my book there is no enhanced speed test provided by Cisco Data Meter (CDM), and the important bar graph provided by GIST is not available in CDM. While there are some new features (like monthly bandwidth usage and projection), the inconsistent speed detection of CDM makes the primary reason for using the tool almost moot.

Cant Figure Out Notification

Im one of those who cant stand unread emails, notifications, or alerts that require my attention. Data Meter indicates I have two such notices. I cant figure out what it is the app is alerting me about. If it is just me, then the app isnt intuitive enough for idiots like me. Follow up: yes the number of wifi hotspots are what the red notification number indicates. I hate it even more now!
